- Ensure our short-term rentals are well maintained by completing general repairs, preventative maintenance
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc.)
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, repair window parts, repair GFI's, repair/replace garbage disposals and microwaves, plumbing basics, drywall, paint, etc.)
- Respond to guest/owner requests regarding maintenance items that include, but are not limited to Appliance troubleshooting, cable/wifi issues, basic HVAC repair, and light plumbing
- Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. water and air filter changes) and other tasks (painting, carpentry, etc.)
- Perform maintenance on our properties such as furniture repair, unclogging drains, and replacing broken items
- Assist with furniture installation, construction, installation, and mounting of TVs
- Provide cross-coverage when necessary to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Coordinate with 3rd party service providers
- Other responsibilities and duties
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or other relevant experience (minimum 1-3 years experience)
- Superior follow-through on all assigned maintenance tasks
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Fantastic troubleshooter and problem solver
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
- Learn and ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules
- Ensure that unsafe conditions are reported and/or corrected immediately
- Be aware of the company’s emergency preparedness plan and responsibilities. This includes being available for implementation and assistance if necessary
- Recommended 4WD/AWD transportation (truck or SUV preferred)
- Ability to lift over 50lbs
- Ability to see projects through to completion
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to respond to maintenance emergencies within Summit County within an hour
